  • Qualification

    NiceRx verifies your eligibility for medication assistance and notifies you if you are qualified. The pharmaceutical company provides your medication for free and you only pay our service fee.

    You may be required to submit further information and documents required by the pharmaceutical company which can be securely uploaded online.

  • Application Created

    Your application is created and sent to your doctor for signature. At this stage, you will be billed $49 and will not be billed again until you receive your first medication delivery.

  • Receive Medication

    Your application is sent to the pharmaceutical company. You will be billed again once you receive your medication. We handle the entire ordering process including requesting ongoing refills.

What is Alphagan P?

Alphagan P is an FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) approved medication manufactured by Allergan, Inc. It is an alpha-adrenergic receptor agonist used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

What doses of Alphagan P are available?

Alphagan P is available in ophthalmic solution form, in the following doses: 0.1%.

To apply eye drops, wash your hands. Do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. Remove contact lenses before using this medication. After applying this medication, wait at least 15 minutes before putting in your contact lens. Instill one drop in the affected eye(s), three times daily, approximately 8 hours apart.

  • Extreme sensitivity to light

Alphagan P drug interactions

Alphagan P can interact with other medications. These include:

  • Antihypertensives/cardiac glycosides may lower blood pressure
  • CNS depressants may result in an additive effect
  • Tricyclic antidepressants may potentially blunt the hypotensive effect of systemic clonidine
  • Monoamine oxidase inhibitors may result in increased hypotension

This list is not exhaustive and other prescription drugs may interact with Alphagan P.

You should not use Alphagan P if you:

  • Are allergic to the active ingredient brimonidine tartrate
  • Are allergic to any of the other ingredients in Alphagan P

To receive a refund, you must send the letter of denial to us by fax to 888-517-7444, or by e-mail to [email protected] within 30 days of your receipt of such letter. The Refund is your sole and exclusive remedy for any fees you may wish to dispute.
