What is Beconase AQ?

Beconase AQ (beclomethasone) is an FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) approved medication manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline. Beconase AQ is a steroid used to treat symptoms such as congestion, sneezing, and runny nose caused by seasonal or year-round allergies. Beconase is used to keep nasal polyps from coming back after surgery to remove them.

What doses of Beconase AQ are available?

Beconase AQ is available as an aerosol nasal spray, in the following doses: 42mcg.

The usual dose is 1 to 2 (42 mcg to 84 mcg) sprays into each nostril once per day. It may take several days before your symptoms improve. Steroid medicine can suppress your immune system, and you may get an infection more easily.

You should not use Beconase AQ if you:
