How it works

  • Enroll online

Get started by filling out the online enrollment application to find out if you are eligible for assistance.

  • Pre-qualification

NiceRx verifies your eligibility for medication assistance and notifies you if you are pre-qualified. The pharmaceutical company provides your medication for free, and you only pay our service fee.

  • Submit documents

We will request documents to be submitted by you and your healthcare provider that are required by the pharmaceutical company to complete your enrollment.

  • Receive medication

Once approved, the pharmaceutical company typically ships a 90-day supply of medication to your home or healthcare provider’s address. Final acceptance is determined by the pharmaceutical company.

To find out if you are eligible for Cinqair assistance you can apply online using our enrollment application. Each pharmaceutical company sets its eligibility criteria, and we will review your application individually to determine if you may be eligible. The three main factors to consider are:

  • I am a permanent, legal resident of the United States or Puerto Rico
  • I am uninsured or my insurance doesn’t cover my medication
  • I meet certain income eligibility requirements

How do I apply for the Cinqair patient assistance program?

Our application process aims to make it as easy as possible to apply for the Cinqair patient assistance program. The first step is to complete our online enrollment application. We will ask you for details about your healthcare provider, your insurance plan, and your household income as this information is required by the pharmaceutical companies. NiceRx will review your application and determine whether you may be eligible for Cinqair assistance. If so, we will handle the full enrollment process for you and prepare all required documents for your healthcare provider to sign. Once you are successfully enrolled in the Cinqair patient assistance program, we will help you manage your prescription refills by requesting refills on your behalf throughout your enrollment period. What is Cinqair?

Cinqair is an FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) approved medication manufactured by Teva Respiratory, LLC. It contains reslizumab, which is a type of drug called a biologic. Biologics are created from cells and not from chemicals.

Cinqair is an interleukin-5 antagonist monoclonal antibody (IgG4 kappa) indicated for add-on maintenance treatment of patients with severe asthma, 18 years of age and older, and with an eosinophilic phenotype. Reslizumab, has been shown to decrease asthma exacerbations and the need for oral corticosteroid use, as well as improve symptoms and lung function to varying degrees. Cinqair is not recommended for the treatment of other eosinophilic conditions, or relief of asthma symptoms or status asthmaticus.

Cinqair is designed to be used along with your current asthma medications. Examples of drugs that may be used with Cinqair to treat severe eosinophilic asthma include corticosteroids, beta-adrenergic bronchodilators, leukotriene pathway modifiers, muscarinic blockers, and theophylline.

Anaphylaxis reactions have occurred with Cinqair infusion in 0.3% of patients in placebo-controlled studies. Patients should be monitored for an appropriate period of time after infusion, and healthcare professionals should be prepared to manage anaphylaxis that can be life-threatening.

What doses of Cinqair are available?

Cinqair is available in injection form, in the following doses: 100 mg/10 mL (10 mg/mL) solution in single-use vials

Cinqair is for intravenous infusion only. It should be administered in a healthcare setting by a healthcare professional prepared to manage anaphylaxis. The recommended dosage regimen is 3 mg/kg once every 4 weeks by intravenous infusion over 20-50 minutes.
