What is Kyzatrex?

Kyzatrex is an FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) approved medication manufactured by Marius Pharmaceuticals. Kyzatrex is an androgen used as an oral testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in adult males for conditions associated with the absence of endogenous testosterone, or testosterone deficiency. Low testosterone occurs when the body does not produce enough testosterone levels on its own.

Primary hypogonadism (testicular failure) and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism both result in low serum testosterone concentrations. Symptoms of hypogonadism include tiredness, decreased muscle mass, weight gain, low sex drive, poor cognition, trouble sleeping, depression, and anxiety. Low levels of testosterone can also increase the risk of type 2 diabetes and obesity.

FDA approval of Kyzatrex for the treatment of male hypogonadism was based on phase 3, multicenter, open-label trial.

What doses of Kyzatrex are available?

Kyzatrex is available in a capsule formulation, in the following doses: 100 mg, 150 mg, and 200 mg.

Confirm hypogonadism before treatment by checking that serum testosterone concentrations are below the normal range. Take Kyzatrex with food, starting with 200 mg orally once in the morning and once in the evening. Keep Kyzatrex out of the reach of children.

Always speak with your healthcare provider about any changes to your dose so they can monitor and evaluate your condition.

Kyzatrex active ingredients
