Locoid Lipocream is a topical steroid (corticosteroid) indicated for skin conditions such as:
- Relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses (allergic reactions or psoriasis) in adults
- The treatment of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (eczema) in patients 3 months to 18 years
Topical corticosteroids share anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties.
What doses of Locoid Lipocream are available?
Locoid Lipocream is available in a cream formulation, in the following doses: 0.1%, 1mg in 1g in tubes of 45 g and 60 g.

Reassess the diagnosis if no improvement is seen within 2 weeks. Before prescribing for more than 2 weeks, any additional benefits of extending treatment to 4 weeks should be weighed against the risk of HPA axis suppression and local adverse events.
