What is Miacalcin?

Continued treatment with Miacalin should be evaluated on a regular basis due to the possibility of malignancy associated with calcitonin salmon use. Also, Miacalcin nasal spray has not been shown to increase bone mineral density in early postmenopausal women.
What doses of Miacalcin are available?
Miacalcin is available as a nasal spray, in the following doses: 2200 IU per mL. Each actuation delivers 200 International Units.
Use one spray per day, alternating nostrils daily. Allow the bottle to reach room temperature and prime the pump, before first use.
