What doses of Retisert are available?

Retisert is available as an eye implant in the following doses: 0.59 mg.

Retisert is surgically implanted into the posterior segment of the affected eye through a pars plana incision. Aseptic technique should be maintained at all times, prior to and during the surgical implantation procedure. Post implantation; patients should be advised to have ophthalmologic follow-up examinations of both eyes at appropriate intervals following implantation of Retisert.

Always speak with a healthcare professional about any changes to your dose so they can monitor and evaluate your condition.
