A second dose may be administered at least 4 hours after the initial dose when required. Do not use more than 2 doses to treat a single episode, and do not use Valtoco to treat more than one episode every five days and no more than five episodes per month. You should limit dosages and durations to the minimum required. Do not stop using diazepam without speaking to your healthcare provider. You may have life-threatening withdrawal symptoms if you stop using the medicine suddenly.
