What is Winlevi?

Winlevi (clascoterone cream)is an FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) approved medication manufactured by Cassiopea, S.p.A. It is an androgen receptor inhibitor used for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris (severe acne) in patients 12 years of age and older.

What doses of Winlevi are available?

Winlevi is available in cream form, in the following doses: 1%.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area in the morning and evening. Do not use it on the eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes. Do not use with other topical products that may irritate or dry the skin, such as medicated soaps, cleansers, or products that contain alcohol.

Winlevi active ingredients
