What is Fylnetra?

Fylnetra is an FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) approved medication manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Inc and Kashiv Biosciences, LLC. It is a leukocyte growth factor (white blood cells) used to reduce the incidence of infection, as seen by febrile neutropenia, in patients with non-myeloid malignancies receiving myelosuppressive anti-cancer treatments related to a clinically significant incidence of febrile neutropenia.

Fylnetra has pegfilgrastim biosimilar approval from the FDA to Neulasta. This FDA approval follows those for Releuko (filgrastim-ayow) and Alymsys (bevacizumab-maly).

Biosimilar means that Fylnetra is approved based on data that it is highly similar to an FDA-approved biological product, called a reference product and that there are no clinical differences between the biosimilar product and the reference product.

What doses of Fylnetra are available?

Fylnetra is available in injection form, in the following doses: 6 mg/0.6 mL solution in a single-dose prefilled syringe for subcutaneous injection.

Always speak with your healthcare provider about any changes to your dose so they can monitor and evaluate your condition.
