What is Mulpleta?

Mulpleta is an FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) approved medication manufactured by Shionogi Inc. It is a thrombopoietin receptor agonist used for the treatment of thrombocytopenia in adult patients with chronic liver disease who are to undergo an invasive procedure.

What doses of Mulpleta are available?

Mulpleta is available in tablet form, in the following doses: 3mg.

The recommended daily dose is 3 mg orally once daily with or without food for 7 days. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is the next day when you remember, skip the missed dose, and take your next dose at the usual time.
