How it works

  • Enroll online

Get started by filling out the online enrollment application to find out if you are eligible for assistance.

  • Pre-qualification

NiceRx verifies your eligibility for medication assistance and notifies you if you are pre-qualified. The pharmaceutical company provides your medication for free, and you only pay our service fee.

  • Submit documents

We will request documents to be submitted by you and your healthcare provider that are required by the pharmaceutical company to complete your enrollment.

  • Receive medication

Once approved, the pharmaceutical company typically ships a 90-day supply of medication to your home or healthcare provider’s address. Final acceptance is determined by the pharmaceutical company.

How do I apply for the Toujeo Solostar patient assistance program?

Our process makes it as easy as possible to apply for the Toujeo Solostar patient assistance program. Begin by completing the enrollment application form on our website. What is Toujeo Solostar?

Insulin is a hormone normally produced by the pancreas. Its function is to lower blood sugar levels. It does this by helping cells in your body absorb the glucose from the blood for energy. Diabetes is a condition where the body is unable to produce enough insulin or does not respond to the insulin made as it normally would. This can lead to high blood sugar levels.

Toujeo Solostar contains a long-acting form of insulin called insulin glargine. This means it takes several hours to work after injection and can then work for an entire day. It is used to improve blood sugar levels in adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Toujeo SoloStar is not approved for use by anyone younger than 6 years old. It can be used by children from 6 years of age with type 1 diabetes but can not be used to treat type 2 diabetes in a child of any age.

Toujeo Solostar active ingredients

Toujeo Solostar contains the prescription medicine insulin glargine. It is injected under the skin. Toujeo SoloStar must not be given with an insulin pump or mixed with other insulins. Do not inject this medicine into skin that is damaged, tender, or does not look normal.

When you inject Toujeo Solostar under your skin, the insulin glargine is released into your bloodstream. It travels around your body and attaches to cells that need sugar. This causes your cells to release a substance that helps them absorb sugar from your blood. Insulin glargine can be active for up to 24 hours, so it can cover your insulin needs for up to a day.
