We do everything that we can to take the hassle and stress out of applying for patient assistance programs. Simply start by filling in our enrollment application. We will ask for details about your healthcare provider, your insurance, and your household income. This information is required by the pharmaceutical companies you are applying to for assistance. We may also be able to help you access patient assistance for other medications that you have been prescribed, so be sure to tell us about any medications you are taking as well as Vitrakvi.

NiceRx will review the information you have provided, and if we determine that you may be eligible for assistance, we will seek to enroll you in the Vitrakvi patient assistance program. What is Vitrakvi?

Vitrakvi contains the prescription medicine larotrectinib and is used to treat certain tumors caused by a faulty gene in the body. Vitrakvi is used if cancer has spread to other parts of your body or cannot be removed with surgery or other cancer treatments. It is also used on patients if their cancer treatment has stopped working. Vitrakvi is used to treat adults and children with solid cancer tumors.

Vitrakvi should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will perform a test to make sure Vitrakvi is the correct treatment for you and your type of tumor. Your doctor may change your dose.

Vitrakvi active ingredients

In tests, larotrectinib is seen to block the effect of certain enzymes in your body known as tropomyosin receptor kinases. These enzymes are normally involved in the growth, spread, and survival of the tumor cells. Blocking the effect of the enzyme helps to stop the growth and spread of the tumor in your body.

Vitrakvi should not be crushed, chewed, or broken and should be taken whole with a full glass of water. Vitrakvi can be taken with or without food. Make sure you follow the instructions given to you by your doctor. You will need regular checks for your liver function while taking this medicine. If you vomit after taking Vitrakvi you must wait until your next dose is due, do not take another capsule until then.
