Am I eligible for the Xembify patient assistance program?

To find out if you are eligible for Xembify assistance you can apply online using our enrollment application. Each pharmaceutical company sets its eligibility criteria, and we will review your application individually to determine if you may be eligible. The three main factors to consider are:

  • I am a permanent, legal resident of the United States or Puerto Rico
  • I am uninsured or my insurance doesn’t cover my medication
  • I meet certain income eligibility requirements

How do I apply for the Xembify patient assistance program?

Our application process aims to make it as easy as possible to apply for the Xembify patient assistance program. The first step is to complete our online enrollment application. We will ask you for details about your healthcare provider, your insurance plan, and your household income as this information is required by the pharmaceutical companies. We may be able to help you apply for other patient assistance programs too, so be sure to tell us about any medications you are taking as well as Xembify.

NiceRx will review your application and determine whether you may be eligible for Xembify assistance. If so, we will handle the full enrollment process for you and prepare all required documents for your healthcare provider to sign. Once you are successfully enrolled in the Xembify patient assistance program, we will help you manage your prescription refills by requesting refills on your behalf throughout your enrollment period. At the end of your enrollment period, we will contact you for updated information and seek to re-enroll you so you can continue to access affordable Xembify.

Is NiceRx a Xembify coupons provider?

NiceRx is a service provider that helps eligible individuals access the Xembify patient assistance program. We do not offer trial offers or free Xembify samples. When obtaining your medication through NiceRx, you will only pay $49 a month per medication. This will likely save you more money than if you were to use Xembify coupons, discount cards, or Xembify copay cards.

Can NiceRx help me get Xembify if I have insurance?

NiceRx may be able to help you if your insurance company will not pay for your Xembify medication. We may also be able to help if you have a high copay or coinsurance responsibility. Whether you have insurance or not, apply online using our enrollment application to find out more.

What is Xembify?

Xembify (immune globulin subcutaneous, human- klhw) is a 20% immune globulin solution for subcutaneous injection, manufactured by Grifols Therapeutics LLC. It has FDA approval (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) for the treatment of primary humoral immunodeficiency (PI) in patients 2 years of age and older.

Warning – Thrombosis. See the full prescribing information for a complete boxed warning. Thrombosis may occur with immune globulin products, including Xembify. Risk factors are advanced age, prolonged immobilization, hypercoagulable conditions, history of venous or arterial thrombosis, use of estrogens, indwelling vascular catheters, hyperviscosity, and cardiovascular risk factors. Thrombosis can occur without known risk factors.

For patients at risk of thrombosis, administer Xembify at the minimum dose and infusion rate practicable. Ensure adequate hydration in patients before administration. Monitor for signs and symptoms of thrombosis and assess blood viscosity in patients at risk for hyperviscosity.

What doses of Xembify are available?

Xembify is available in solution form, in the following doses: 0.2 g/ mL (200 mg/mL; 20%) protein solution for subcutaneous infusion.

Xembify is for subcutaneous administration only. Before switching to Xembify, obtain the patient’s serum IgG trough level to guide dose adjustment. When switching from immune globulin intravenous (human), 10% (IVIG) to Xembify, calculate the dose by using a dose adjustment factor.

Start Xembify treatment one week after the last IVIG infusion. Calculate an initial weekly dose by converting the monthly (or every 3 weeks) IVIG dose into an equivalent weekly dose and increasing it using a dose adjustment factor. When administering use up to 6 infusion sites at the same time, at least 2 inches between sites, avoiding any bony areas. Rotate sites for each administration.

Always speak with a healthcare professional about any changes to your dose so they can monitor and evaluate your condition.
