What is Bevespi Aerosphere?

Bevespi Aerosphere contains a combination of the prescription medicines formoterol and glycopyrrolate. Glycopyrrolate is classed as an anticholinergic and formoterol is classed as a bronchodilator. Bevespi Aerosphere is used for the treatment of COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) in adults. Bevespi Aerosphere is not used for the treatment of asthma. If your breathing problems get worse quickly, or if you think your medications are not working anymore you should speak to your doctor.

Bevespi Aerosphere active ingredients

Glycopyrrolate is classed as a long-acting antimuscarinic agent, also known as an anticholinergic. It has the effect of relaxing the smooth muscle in your lungs which allows the airways to widen.

Formoterol fumarate is classed as a long-acting selective beta2- agonist, which begins to work quickly. Inhaled formoterol fumarate works directly on the lungs at widening the airways.

The Bevespi Aerosphere should be shaken well just before you inhale your dose. You should not stop using Bevespi Aerosphere suddenly. Stopping suddenly can make your condition worse.
