How it works
Get started by filling out the online enrollment application to find out if you are eligible for assistance.
NiceRx verifies your eligibility for medication assistance and notifies you if you are pre-qualified. The pharmaceutical company provides your medication for free, and you only pay our service fee.
We will request documents to be submitted by you and your healthcare provider that are required by the pharmaceutical company to complete your enrollment.
Once approved, the pharmaceutical company typically ships a 90-day supply of medication to your home or healthcare provider’s address. Final acceptance is determined by the pharmaceutical company.

What is Sovaldi?
Sovaldi contains the prescription medicine sofosbuvir. Sofosbuvir is classed as an antiviral medicine and is used for the treatment of chronic (long-term) hepatitis C virus (HCV) in adults and children who are 3 years old or above.
Sovaldi should not be used on its own and is given in combination with other antiviral medications such as ribavirin (with or without peginterferon alfa). Sovaldi is only used in certain patients and for the treatment of certain types of hepatitis C. Sovaldi is used where there is no cirrhosis (a disease of the liver usually caused by alcoholism or hepatitis) or where there is cirrhosis, but the liver is still able to carry out most of its normal functions.
Sovaldi active ingredients
Sofosbuvir blocks the action of specific enzymes in the body which are needed for the virus to multiply. Sofosbuvir works by being converted in the body into its active form, this is then added into the hepatitis C virus (HCV) RNA by enzymes causing the production of the RNA chain to be stopped. The active version of sofosbuvir is not harmful to normal human enzymes.
Sovaldi can make hepatitis B become worse or more active while you are taking this medicine and for months after you have stopped. You may need to have liver function tests. The dose of sofosbuvir will depend on your child’s weight and may need to be adjusted by your doctor if your child gains or loses weight. This medicine should not be stopped suddenly and you should always follow the advice of your doctor.
