FAQ

Common questions.

What is sermorelin, and what does it do?
Sermorelin is a peptide that prompts your body to release its own growth hormone, mainly during deep sleep. It is not growth hormone itself. Patients use it to support recovery, sleep quality and lean mass as natural production declines with age. It is not a treatment for any disease, and results vary.
How do I take the tablets?
One 1,000 mcg tablet before bed, five days a week, with two days off. Taking it at night works with your body's natural overnight growth-hormone release. Your provider confirms the dose and can adjust it over time.
Tablets vs. the injection: which should I choose?
Same peptide, two formats. Tablets are needle-free and simpler to travel with; the injection is the more established route. Many people start with tablets. If you're unsure, say so in your assessment. Your provider recommends the format, you don't have to decide alone.
When might I notice a difference?
Sleep quality is usually the first thing people report, often within the first few weeks. Changes in recovery and body composition are gradual and build over months of consistent use. Individual results vary.
What are the most common side effects?
Sermorelin is generally well tolerated. Reported effects include headache, flushing, dizziness or mild nausea, usually short-lived. Tell your provider about all medications and conditions. It isn't appropriate for everyone, including people with active cancer.
Why five days a week, not seven?
A two-day break each week is a common approach intended to support the body's own regulation of growth-hormone release. Your provider sets your schedule and may adjust it.
Is this FDA-approved?
No. Compounded sermorelin is prepared for your prescription by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy and is permitted under federal law, but it is not FDA-approved and does not undergo FDA review. Your provider decides whether a compounded option is appropriate for you.
Do I need insurance?
No. NiceRx is cash-pay: no claims, prior authorizations or coverage denials. Your plan price includes the provider evaluation, your medication and delivery.
What if it isn't right for me?
Then your provider won't prescribe it, and you won't be charged. Your card is authorized at checkout but only captured if a prescription is issued. They may suggest an alternative, including the injection or a different strength category.
Can I pause or cancel?
Yes, any time from your account. Monthly plans have no commitment; longer plans are prepaid at a lower monthly price and simply don't renew if you stop.
